LIFE STRUCTURE
+ RESOURCES

The mission of the Life Structure + Resources Ministry is to extend the love of Jesus by encouraging and equipping individuals and families to become lovers of Jesus, and to live loving and healthy lives, while being productive members of the community.
Jesus said,
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me... I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
 Matthew 25:35-40

life structure

City Church desires to co-labor and journey with those who seek a spiritual way to free themselves from alcohol and drugs, or other bad habits or hang ups, as well as those who need support in reconstructing their lives through the following ways:

COUNSELING

A staff person will counsel individuals/families as they work to discover solutions to overcome their problems and gain a deeper, trusting relationship with Jesus.

mentoring

Extra support will be provided during this challenging time. A listening ear, encouraging word, and constructive accountability can make the journey bearable.

accountability

While not meant to be invasive or controlling, we need to have a real understanding of the situation and circumstances. This way we can assess individuals and families so we can provide accountability.

In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus told us the goal of all this was "to make disciples." It is our hope that those who are deeper in faith in Jesus, will each out to those who are not yet strong in theirs. If we all gave of ourselves to a few people, we could one day, "turn the world upside down." (Acts 17:6) This is how Jesus did it.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

It is City Church's desire to be good stewards of our finances.  We want to help those who are truly in need.  We can only base our decisions on information provided by the applicant. It is easier for us to help people who are being up front about their current situation. Because we are church and care about you as a person, we do our best to prayerfully review the information you provide and make a wise decision.  If we are not able to assist you financial at this time, please don't receive it as a personal rejection.  It is our hope and prayer that the realness of God would be seen in your time of need and difficult situation.  He knows your needs.  Proverbs 3:5-6
