City Church supports a vibrant network of missionary families serving across the U.S., Central and South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, India, and Asia. Our missionaries share the gospel, meet practical needs, and bring the hope of Jesus to communities around the world.
Missions is about more than sharing the gospel—it’s about serving others, building relationships, and equipping local leaders to continue the work for generations to come. And, missionaries aren’t meant to do this work alone. The support of a local church provides encouragement, prayer, financial partnership, and a community they can stay connected to as they serve.
Our missionaries are involved in:- Training pastors and leaders through Bible schools
- Planting churches in unreached communities
- Rescuing and restoring women from sex trafficking
- Supporting orphanages and children’s homes
- Ministering to unwed mothers
- Translating Scripture into new languages
- Providing medical care and training nurses
- Building homes, churches, and hospitals
- And so much more
Our congregation is part of this vital mission through sending short-term teams, praying regularly, and encouraging our missionaries. Led by Nancy Van Maren, our Global Missions Team helps ensure our partners are cared for, connected, and equipped to thrive in their respective ministries.
Each year, our Annual Missions Conference brings our congregation together to hear from missionaries, celebrate what God is doing, and encourage those serving here at home and around the world.
During the conference, we ask our congregation to prayerfully consider making a Pledge - personal commitments that help sustain our global outreach. More than 95% of what we raise goes directly toward monthly support for our missionaries on the field. Through our prayers, participation, and generosity, we share in the work of making Christ known around the world.
