PRAYER

Prayer is the furnace of City Church.
The main purpose of prayer is to experience the joy of being in God’s Presence together. Isaiah 56:7 says, “These people I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

TUESDAY NIGHT PRAYER MEETING

Prayer is at the heart of all we do at City Church and we call our weekly prayer meeting the furnace room of our church. The service includes an extended time of worship and corporate prayer on a variety of themes and focuses. The weekly prayer meeting takes place in the City Church sanctuary from 6:30-8PM.

PRAY 132

"I will allow no sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids, till I find a place for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob."   -Psalm 132:4-5

God calls us to be a house of prayer; He calls us to seek His face; to pray and to spend time together in His Holy Presence. Join us every few months for a week of seeking the Lord for all he has for City Church and us as individuals.

You can sign up for a time slot to pray in the Prayer Room at church (located in the balcony).

The next Pray 132 week will be June 4-10, 2023

CITY CHURCH HOUSE OF PRAYER

House Of Prayer at City Church is based off the International House of Prayer model, down in Kansas City.  The heart behind the HOP is to have 24/7 prayer and worship, designed to reflect the tabernacle of David (1 Chr. 9:33; 22–24).
The House Of Prayer at City Church currently meets every Monday night, with the set going from 6:30-8:30PM.  Located in the Youth Center, in the lower level of the school, House Of Prayer is open to anyone wanting to come pray and worship together.

PROPHETIC PRAYER

Do you long for a glimpse of how God sees you? Jesus wants to encourage you and give you comfort. Appointments for prophetic prayer are available the first, second, third and fourth Sunday of each month, between morning services.

Please Note:  Once you have signed up, a prayer leader will contact you about the location of the prayer time. We will require your email and text in the 'comments' section of your appointment. Without your email and text we will not be able to connect with you.

FREEDOM MINISTRY

A ministry of City Church that is commissioned and committed to bringing freedom and healing to those bound and oppressed by the lies and powers of darkness. Freedom comes by the power of the Holy Spirit when in relationship with the Father through Christ Jesus. We are contending for the healing and restoration of the hearts, minds, and bodies of those suffering from darkness.  Freedom Ministry Prayer happens on the first Tuesday of every month during our Tuesday Night Prayer.

HEALING PRAYER MINISTRY

Jesus is the Healer! If you need healing and encouragement, don't go it alone. Come and
have the Healing Team pray for you and stand with you in agreement for your healing.

Healing Prayer is normally held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 5:30-6:30PM
in Room 104/106 in the lower level of the church building. No sign up is needed.

Please Note: When COVID-19 restrictions do not allow in person meetings at the church, healing prayer is held over Zoom.  For more information on how to join one of those Zoom prayer times, contact the ministry leader through the contact button at the top of the page.

PRAYER ROOM

The City Church Prayer Room is located in the balcony of the sanctuary and also houses the City Church Library.  For more information on the Library click here.

Our prayer room is open during church hours for people to spend time in prayer, contemplation, and research.  The prayer room is also used for 24 hour prayer during our quarterly PRAY 132 week.

If you are interested in being used by the Lord in spiritual gifts to set people free, we encourage you to check out our prophetic, healing, and freedom ministry team trainings and opportunities. Sign up below to receive more information.
