Beginning June 8th the City Church building will be under construction due to a new expansion. The improvements that are planned as a part of this building project are designed to better serve our congregation for the the years to come by creating a more welcoming, functional, and accessible space for everyone.
Some of the major enhancements include:
• A new elevator
• Additional restrooms
• Increased natural lighting throughout the building
• New office spaces
• An expanded foyer for fellowship and gathering
We are grateful for the opportunity to invest in the future of our church home and look forward to all the ways these improvements will support ministry, hospitality, discipleship, and community life for years to come. We know construction projects can bring temporary inconveniences, and we sincerely appreciate your patience, flexibility, and support during this exciting season.

PARKING + ENTRANCES
Since there will be temporary changes to building access, parking, and traffic flow during this season:
• The lower-level entrance doors facing the parking lot will be closed throughout most of the construction timeframe.
• All attendees should enter through the main foyer entrance at the front of the church or through the east side stairwell entrance.
• To reach the foyer entrance, please use the sidewalk along the west side of the church building. Directional signs will be posted throughout the property to help guide everyone.

Accessible Parking + For Those Needing Assistance
During the building project, the parking spaces directly in front of the building facing Buckeye Rd. will remain reserved for accessible parking and on Sundays, the parking spaces closest to the sidewalk near the west lawn will become the designated parking area for elderly attendees and those needing additional assistance. There will be signs indicating these parking areas.
Additional Entrance Information
The circle drive in front of the church building will be one way only (west to east) during the building project for the safety of those being dropped off at the front doors and the accessible parking in the circle.
On Sunday mornings, we will have a Golf Cart Pick Up area at The Prayer Room where anyone can get a ride to the front doors of the church building. The parking lot of The Prayer Room will be designated parking for those using the golf cart shuttle service.
Children's Ministry lower level doors will not be accessible during this time. When arriving, please use the front doors of the church and the stairwell to the right to access the lower level.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why is City Church doing an expansion?
As City Church continues to grow and thrive, we are in need of more gathering space, an elevator, restrooms, meeting space and offices. The expansion addresses all those needs.
How long will the building project take?
We expect the project to be finished at the end of 2026.
Will any of the regular services, ministries, events, and activities be affected by this building project?
All of City Church's regular ministry events and activities will take place, as regularly scheduled, however, as the entrance to the lower level will not be available for the near future, anyone coming for small groups, events, and activities in the lower level will need to enter through the main foyer doors and take the stairwell to the right to access the lower level. If a small group or other regular ministry meeting space needs to change due to the construction, your small group leader or the ministry leader will contact you directly.
How will the construction affect the Children's Ministry on Sunday mornings?
Children's Ministry will take place as normally scheduled on Sunday mornings, however, the lower level doors will not be accessible except in the case of an emergency. When arriving, please use the front doors of the church and the stairwell to the right to access the lower level. The Children's Ministry check-in is at the end of the hallway to the left once you reach the lower level. If you need assistance on Sunday mornings, you are welcome to park in The Prayer Room parking lot where there will be a golf cart shuttle to the front door of the church building.
